You are looking at a "E minor" Lower mid range Appalachian cherry Wood, Native American style flute made by Mockingbird Flutes, of Texas! This flute has a Appalachian Cherry Road Runner for the fetish. The Appalachian Cherry is very figured and I even filled a beauty mark with some Turquoise.
I don't do this part time; I spend my time focused on making the best sounding flutes as well as creative designs. This also gives me enough time to make all my flutes while in a positive frame of mind. I start my day with meditation and prayer to the Creator to guide me through the day and to bless my flutes so they may heal the mind and spirit of those playing and hearing them. I also burn incense and cedar for each flute prior to tuning. I do this because I have been on a spiritual journey for most of my life and when I found the Native American Flute it just fit in with my Journey. This is why making flutes has become my passion!
The finger holes are placed on center in the traditional style. See the flute lay out for the finger hole sizes and spacing. If you plan on bidding please ask for a sound clip; please E-mail me. This flute, like all Native American style flutes are affected by temperature as far as the tuning is concerned but it was tuned at 72 degrees to a Mid "E" fundamental. This flute can be played by a professional at a recording studio or by the new flute player just playing by themselves.
