Welcome to Mockingbird Flutes

Click on photo for more pictures of this flute that won 2nd place at

Musical Echoes 2006.

This is me playing one of my side blown D flutes at the

Zion Canyon art and flute festival on open mic October 2006.

If you haven't been to this festival yet, you need to start planning for next years. I'll see you there!!

If your interested in getting a walking stick or any other style flute from me please email me and we can design one that is custom made just for you.

I chose the name Mockingbird Flutes because the Mockingbird sings a variety of beautiful songs.

This is what I work hard to get from each of my flutes,
a beautiful tone to play from the heart!
I was told the story of the first flute by a fellow flute maker and just click here to read it.
Although I'm not a member of any Native American Nation, I do have great
respect for them and their traditions. Therefore I do use a smudging ritual
before and during the making of all my flutes that was passed on to me
by Dave Mohawk and can be read if you click here.

I have had two songs done on my flutes by Indian in the Machine and you can link to hear them from here . Go to the MP3 Music section and they are "Nurture Day" and "Sanada Immanuel" He pushes the creative envelope with the flutes!
